
Nicole Meyer decided to create a logo for each of the 10,000 lakes in her home state of Minnesota. From the website:
Lake logos have a tendency to be, well, fairly ugly. This project was created to rethink what they could be.
One Minnesota Lake. One Logo. Every day.

How awesome is this project?! Not only is she having fun creating logos for lakes named such things as “Christmas Lake” and “Fairy Lake,” but she is also keeping her design skills sharp by creating something daily. This is a neat project that you should check out and even draw inspiration from. There are tons of things out there that need a good redesign. Why not create new logos for America’s state parks? (I’ll be surprised is someone is not already doing this.)
